DG ISPR says no threat to democracy from Pakistan Army
RAWALPINDI, JAN 22 (DNA) – DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor has spoken over the much hyped rumours circulating in the media regarding any possibility of the Pakistan Army interfering in the politics and the possible threat of the derailment of democracy by Pakistan Army .
He said that there is no threat to democracy from them.
on Monday, he said that stability is very essential for the country. “We are the army of the people and do whatever we can do for the people,” he maintained.
The DG ISPR said that they would follow the order whatever they receive about the elections.
He termed the allegation of the Haqqani network attacks from Pakistan as baseless.
