DG ISPR responds back to the Afghan authorities allegations over Haqqani network
LAHORE, JAN 22 (DNA) – Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Major General Asif Ghafoor has responded back to the allegations levelled by the Afghan authorities over the Haqqani network involved in the attack on Kabul.
He asserted on Monday that allegations of terror attacks by Haqqani network in Pakistan are baseless.
ISPR DG conversed with anchorperson Kamran Shahid in an exclusive interview that aired tonight.
He said that institutions of Pakistan are fighting extremism and terrorism and stability is important for Pakistan. Allegations of attacks carried out by Haqqani network are false, he added.
Major General Bajwa said that democratic setup in Pakistan has no threat from the military and that the setup would continue without hiccups if positives of democracy are delivered to the people.
