Cultural Show for children held at PNCA

ISLAMABAD, 18 AUG, (DNA) – A Cultural show was organized by Pakistan National Council of the Arts today at 10:00 AM at PNCA Auditorium Islamabad, in which a large number of students from more than fifteen different educational institutions of the twin cities participated.
The cultural show was part of the Independence Day Celebrations organized by PNCA.
The students of NUML University, Bahria University, International Islamic University, Fatima Jinnah Women University, IMCG I-8/4, Islamabad Science School & College, IMCG G-6/4 and Alsadiq School Ghori Town, Islamabad presented national songs, tableaus, skits and speeches highlighting the importance of independence to acknowledge the sacrifices of our forefathers and promote love for the homeland.
A special feature of the program was the special performances by students of PNCA’s Summer Art Classes, which was highly appreciated by the audience.
Director Performing Arts, PNCA Ms. Tanvir Kiyani appreciated the efforts of teachers for preparing the students for the performances which was the major reason of holding such a successful program.
Director General PNCA Syed Iftikhar Hussain Babar was the Chief Guest of the event. He appreciated the staff and officers of PNCA for holding a very impressive cultural show for children aiming to raise awareness in youth and engage them in positive constructive activities so they could play significant role in the national development.
In the end, the participating educational institutions were awarded shields. =DNA
