Chaklala Railway Station escapes disaster, explosives recovered

RAWALPINDI, AUG 06 (DNA) – Rawalpindi’s Chaklala Railway Station has escaped a disaster as police have on Sunday recovered explosive material and weapons that were hidden near the station.
According to police, the operation was conducted on a tip-off, and the arms had been buried in a sack under a signboard. It has further been informed that Chaklala Railway Station was the possible target of the militants.
Among the recovered weapons, there was a machine gun, three guns, and bullets. A suspicious motorbike has also been taken into custody by the police that was standing nearby.=DNA
