Blast kills two security personnel in Tirah valley

KHYBER AGENCY, AUGUST 17 (DNA): Two security force personnel in Tirah valley died on Wednesday while three more injured when they were targeted with an improvised explosive device (IED), officials said.
The sources said that security force men were on patrolling to make advancement in Rajgal area of Tirah valley which is in the jurisdiction of Jamrud political administration when an IED went off. As the result of the blast two security force men lost lives while three other personnel received wounds in the planted bomb blast.
Pakistani security forces on Tuesday launched a fresh operation against militants and to reinforce the deployment of security forces in Rajgal and Satar Kili areas of the remote Tirah valley in Khyber Agency. The security force sources say they have deployed more security force personnel alongside the Pak-Afghan border in Tirah valley. a
In recent bombardment the Pakistan jet fighters have pounded the suspected hideouts of militants in Tirah and are claiming that a number of militants have been killed in the fresh operation against the enemies of Pakistan.
Meanwhile the security forces have said that they have taken the control of various important locations up on the mountains in Tirah valley and are making advancement to clear the remaining areas of terrorists. =DNA
