Bilawal launches ‘Sindh Peoples Ambulance Service’
KARACHI, MAR 17, (DNA) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has on Friday launched the Sindh Peoples Ambulance Service in Karachi.
The inauguration ceremony was held at CM House, Karachi.
During its first phase, the ambulance service will be operational in Thatta and Sajawal Districts.
While addressing the ceremony on the occasion, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari let it be known that the ambulance service will be extended to other parts of the province including Karachi.
He professed that the Sindh Government is striving for provision of basic facilities to the people.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah revealed at the occasion that the government sector has got limited services and that is why, we are working in close coordination with the private sector.
It is also worth mentioning here that the prime minister during his visit to SIndh on March 9, announced several development projects including a construction of a 500-bed hospital in Thatta, launching of healthcare card scheme for Thatta, Sajawal and Tando Mohammad Khan, and provision of electricity and natural gas for district Sajawal and Thatta.
