Bilawal asks PM to step down till Panama Papers probe

Accountability should start from the prime minister, says Bilawal

KOTLI, 30 APR, (DNA) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday stated that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s government will not be able to complete itsconstitutional term as the days of the government have been numbered after the onset of the Panama Leaks.

“Mian sb, you step down as prime minister till probe into Panama Papers and then you can re-assume the office after the completion of the investigation,” Bilawal said.

While the public rally here ahead of elections in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Bilawal said that Kashmir is a symbol of struggle in the entire world. He dedicated the party’s rally to the martyrs who died as a result of “terrorism conducted by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)”, adding that he will ensure that the murderers get to face justice.

He said that peace in South Asia will also result in peace in the Middle East. He criticised the United Nations (UN) regarding its inability to solve the Kashmir issue by stating that the UN has passed resolutions regarding Kashmir however it has failed to implement those resolutions. He further added that the global community has turned a blind eye towards the

Kashmir issue and stated that unarmed Kashmiris and Palestinians are becoming subjects to atrocities.

PPP Chairman during his address said that the PM has not condemned the violence that has been carried out in Kashmir and stated that Peoples Party endorses the efforts of the Kashmiris. “Whenever I speak of the Kashmiris, Modi government and the India media start propaganda (against me)” he said.

Bilawal demanded that the Prime Minister should resign adding that Mian saab’s days are numbered.

He said that the party will no longer remain quiet on the Panama Leaks issue as the government will not be able to complete its constitutional term as it is going through a turbulent period and that the “Raiwind throne” seems shaking.

He further added that the wall of deception is about to fall and that PML-N’s demise will begin from Kashmir and will reach Pakistan from here.

He accused that the funds of the Kashmir Council are being distributed in PML-N members by the authority seated in Islamabad and that fake voter lists are being produced by registering the votes of non-Kashmiri people. Bilawal stated the “action replay” of the 2013 elections is there to be witnessed in the current scenario as PML-N is an expert in rigging.

PPP Chairman said that the PM is indulged in business, not politics as he has become the Prime Minister of the country for a third time but has been unable to become a leader. He stated that the PM does not pay attention towards education as it does not involve the use of steel through which he is able to gain his own profits.

He said that the Orange Line project is the world’s most expensive project and compared the budget set for the project (Rs 162 billion) with that of Kashmir’s annual budget (Rs 68 billion).

He added that the Pakistani government did not decrease oil prices whereas they were reduced around the whole world. He said that all the development done in Kashmir was during PPP’s tenure and stated that his party wants to provide employment to the people and uplift their living standard. He promised the Kashmiri people that whatever seems as a distant dream as of now will become a reality when PPP comes to power. =DNA
