Baluchistan assembly speakers decide to ‘call it a day’
QUETTA, NOV 8 (DNA) – Speaker of Baluchistan Assembly Abdul Quddus Bazinjo has decided to ‘call it a day’ amidst reports of huge differences within the party and with the allies.
Bazinjo is reported to have conveyed his decision to his party men and allies. He is of the view that as Speaker he had no independence to exercise his powers for the welfare of his people.
“I cannot be a mere rubberstamp speaker if I cannot help my people”, he said.
Sources say, he may hold a news conference to announce his decision. He is also likely to spell out reasons that led him to take this extreme decision.=DNA
