Bahamas appoints Asad Ur Rehman Khan as honorary consul in Pakistan
KARACHI, DEC 29 /DNA/ – The Government of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas has appointed Mr. Asad Ur Rehman Khan as Honorary Consul of The Bahamas in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. His appointment has been duly recognised by the Government of Pakistan through the issuance of an exequatur signed by the President of Pakistan.
As Honorary Consul, Mr. Khan will represent and promote the interests of The Bahamas in Pakistan, with a focus on enhancing bilateral relations, facilitating consular services, encouraging trade and investment, and fostering cultural and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.
This appointment underscores the commitment of the Government of The Bahamas to expand its diplomatic outreach and strengthen partnerships in South Asia, opening new avenues for cooperation and mutual understanding.
