Author reveals 9-year journey behind iconic brands book

ISLAMABAD, AUG 11 /DNA/ – The launch of Pakistan Iconic Brands by Arshad Awan at the Islamabad Golf Club turned into a vibrant gathering of diplomats, civil society members, and senior officials, including Murtaza Solangi, Spokesperson to the President of Pakistan.

Speaking at the event, Isphanyar M. Bhandara, CEO of Murree Brewery, highlighted the challenges faced by Pakistan’s industrialists and businessmen. He stressed that governance systems need to be improved to ensure better production and sustainable growth. He also elaborated on Murree Brewery’s CSR initiatives, underscoring that corporate social responsibility remains paramount for the company’s vision and operations.

The author, Arshad Awan, shared his journey of writing the book, revealing that it took him nine years to complete the project. He described the work as a celebration of Pakistan’s most enduring and influential brands, capturing their role in shaping the country’s commercial and cultural identity.
The event was attended by a large number of diplomats, members of civil society, and prominent personalities, reflecting the significance of the book in documenting Pakistan’s business heritage.
