Appearing before JIT for the supremacy of law, constitution: PM Nawaz
ISLAMABAD, JUN 15 (DNA) – Senior ministers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Thursday held a meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif before his appearance in Joint Investigation Committee (JIT) and consulted him over significant matters.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar exchange view with him on the political situation of the country and appearance before JIT.
PM Nawaz said that he is going to JIT to fulfill the requirements of justice. He congratulated Ishaq Dar over the approval of budget from National Assembly.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and federal ministers also met PM Nawaz.
The premier pronounced that he presented himself for accountability in Panama case from the beginning. He asserted that they believe in the supremacy of law and constitution and like the past, he will be successful in JIT too.
Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif appeared before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) today, constituted by the Supreme Court (SC) to probe much-hyped Panama Leaks case.
Arriving at the Federal Judicial Academy without protocol, PM Nawaz greeted the supporters by waving his hand. He was accompanied by his sons Hassan and Hussain Nawaz, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif, and Hamza Shehbaz.
