Nawaz Sharif has set record by appearing before JIT: PML-N
ISLAMABAD, JUN 15 (DNA) – Leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Thursday appreciated the step taken by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to appear before Panama Joint Investigation Team (JIT).
Talking to media outside the Federal Judicial Academy, Daniyal Aziz said that Nawaz Sharif has set a record by presenting himself for the interrogation in Panama Papers case. Referring to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, Daniyal Aziz said that ‘Ishtehaari Khan’ is not appearing in any court.
Meanwhile, spokesman to the Prime Minister House Musaddaq Malik expressed reservations over the investigation procedure of the team.
On the other hand, Nawaz Sharif is present inside the JIT secretariat to answer eleven questions related to the variations in speeches delivered on different forums after the Panamagate surfaced, sale of Gulf Steel Mills, real owner of Nelson and Nescol companies, Hussain Nawaz’s gift of millions of rupees, and set up of various businesses in parts of the world.=DNA
