ISLAMABAD, JUL 20 (DNA) –Ambassador of Romania Emilian ION who is also Dean European Missions, has assumed charge of Acting Dean of Diplomatic Corps with immediate effect.The Dean of Diplomatic Corps Ambassador of Kazskhstan Bakhitbek Shabarbayev has proceeded on leave and in his absence Emilian ION shall act as the Dean.

The Dean has written a letter to the entire diplomatic corps informing them about this decision. The letter reads, “Ambassador of Republic of Kazakhstan Dean of Diplomatic Corps will be out of Pakistan from 16 July 2016. During his absence Mr. Emilian ION, Ambassador of the Romania will be in charge of capacity of the Dean of Diplomatic Corps”.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Organisations based in Islamabad have also been informed about this decision.= DNA
