Accountability court hears case against Ishaq Dar
ISLAMABAD, SEPT 20 (DNA) – The accountability court in Islamabad is on Wednesday hearing a case against DAR in connection with the reference filed by NAB against the accused for possessing asset beyond known sources of income.
Meanwhile, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore has issued instructions to the State Bank of Pakistan as well as all other banks countrywide to freeze the accounts of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
In addition, the bureau also asked to be informed once the said action has been undertaken.
As per sources, NAB had already dispatched summons to Dar’s residence in Islamabad as well as in Lahore. In addition, it has also been revealed that NAB will ask the trial court to issue arrest warrants for Dar in case he does not show up for the court hearing today.
