Ceremony held in Gayari to pay tribute to martyrs: ISPR
RAWALPINDI, MAY 02 (DNA) – A special ceremony was held at Gayari, Siachen to pay tributes to the Shahuada of Gayari who sacrifice their lives in line of duty in 2012 due to a massive snow avalanche.
Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan, Corps Commander Rawalpindi and relatives of shaheeds attended the ceremony. Corps commander laid floral wreath at Shahada monument. Paying rich tribute to the martyrs and their families, Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza, Corps commander Rawalpindi said that Pakistan Army will always remember its officers and men who laid their lives defending the motherland.
