Resolution submitted in Sindh Assembly over Karachi knife attacks
KARACHI, OCT 09 (DNA) – A resolution was submitted in Sindh Assembly on Monday over knife attacks against more than ten women in Karachi in the last two weeks.
A member of the assembly, belonging to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz submitted the resolution demanding the law enforcement agencies to catch the culprit responsible for violence against women in the metropolis.
While talking to the media, the MPA declared the government of Sindh inefficient and demanded more off the inspector general of Sindh and the government.
She said that the provincial government has failed to ensure safety of women.
Earlier, Sindh police sought assistance and resources of Counter-terrorism Department to catch the motorcyclist who has been stabbing women in the streets and fleeing for weeks.
