Chinese envoy assures cooperation for Baluchistan
ISLAMABAD, SEPT 27 (DNA) – Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Excellency Sun Weidong has assured wholehearted cooperation in the area of Education, Information Technology, teachers training programmes and exchange of students with Loralai University in liaison with China Ministry of Education including assistance in health facilities, clean drinking water, generation of solar energy and other public services projects in Balochistan.
This was disclosed in meeting by the Chinese Envoy to Pakistan, Excellency Sun Weidong with the Federal Minister for Postal Services Molana Ameer Zaman which was held the other day in the Chinese Embassy. Chinese Cultural Counselor You Yi and Third Secretary Mr. Xing Lijun was also present there.
Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong said Pak-China friendship is exemplary on the globe and it is time tested and progressing by leaps and bounds.
Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong also said that Government and people of China hold friendship with Pakistan in high esteem and respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan close to their hearts.
Federal Minister for Postal Services, Molana Ameer Zaman conveyed the good wishes from the people of Pakistan and from Jamiate Ulema Islam (F) to Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong and lauded the efforts of Government of China for making the CPEC project a great success to modernize Pakistan’s Industrial infrastructure, transpiration networks, energy projects and special economic zones.
Federal Minister, Molana Ameer Zaman lauded the personal efforts of Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong for enhancing people to people contact and cultural understanding between Pakistan and China.
Federal Minister said Pakistan-China Friendship is a model for the world community despite changing International Scenario. China and Pakistan are close neighboring countries linked with silk route, common rivers and mountains.
The friendship between the two countries has become even stronger as time goes by Federal Minister added On this occasion, Federal Minister for Postal Services said that Balochistan is a gateway to all Central Asian states and also assured the Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong that JUI (F) will always extend all possible cooperation to the Government of China for building a solid partnership in completion of CPEC linkages connecting Baluchistan with Gwadar Port Complex and other educational and development projects in Loralia which will bring economic prosperity to the local people of the area.
Federal Minister for Postal Service also thanked Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong for taking special interest in Balochistan and extending cooperation in education sector, Information Technology, exchange of students and teachers training programmes.
At the conclusion of the meeting, exchange of souvenirs took place and Federal Minister for Postal Services, Maulana Ameer Zaman presented a stamp album containing commemorative postage stamps issued on the theme of Pak-China Friendship. Likewise, Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong presented a typical Chinese red porcelain signifying prosperity to the people of Pakistan.=DNA
