Qatar minister Dr. Khalid M A Attiya meets Gen. Raheel Sharif
Rawalpindi, 27 October 2016: Minister of State of Def Affairs Qatar, Dr Khalid Bin Muhammad Al Attiyah, called on General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) at General Headquarters.
Matters of mutual interest including defence and security cooperation came under discussion during the meeting. The visiting dignitary acknowledged Pakistan’s successes in fight against terrorism and efforts for regional peace and stability.
Earlier on arrival at GHQ, Defence Minister Qatar, laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented the guard of honour to the visiting dignitary.
