Pakistan heading towards new phase of stability: Karman Michael
ISLAMABAD, 21 OCT (DNA) – Federal Minister for Human Rights Senator Kamran Michael will be visiting Portugal on the special invitation of the newly appointed Secretary General United Nations (UN) in the last week of November this year.
A delegation of business community from Portugal led by Chief Operation Officer William Monteiro invited Kamran Michael on behalf Mr. Antonio Guterres, the newly appointed Secretary General UN. In a meeting here in Islamabad on Friday, besides PML-N Women Wing leader Amna Malik, officials of Ministry of Human Rights were also present the occasion.
They remained with the Minister for some time and discussed the matters of mutual interest with special focus on the improving relations between the business community of Pakistan and Portugal. The issues related to the business opportunities were also came under discussion.
The Minister welcomes the distinguished guests and said that we have combated the wave of militancy and terrorism and now heading towards new phase of stability, peace and development. He said the people of Pakistan had rendered the great sacrifices for the peace of entire region and urged the international community to reciprocate our sacrifices.
The Federal Minister Kamran Michael said that the peace has been restored throughout the country heading that conditions are favorable for foreign investors. The delegation thanked the Minister and assured their full support in this regard. =DNA
