NA Speaker Ayaz Saidq in Romania for bilateral talks
ISLAMABAD, MAR 29 (DNA) – The Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has held important consultative meeting with his Romanian counterpart in Bucharest on Tuesday. The Speaker National Assembly is on Romania visit along with a high-powered delegation.
According to sources the purpose of the visit is to further strengthen and diversify relations between the two countries. The Romanian side is keen to expand and cement relations with Pakistan in all fields.
Pakistan and Romania enjoy cordial relations. The hallmark of these relations is that they are constantly on the move. The Speaker National Assembly during his visit met with other high level officials also. He, during these interactions expressed desire to take bilateral relations to new heights.
Both sides share common views on international as well as regional issues. During past few years relations between the two countries have witnessed progress in many fields especially in defence, trade, economy, culture ete, credit for which goes to Romanian Ambassador in Pakistan Emilian ION.
Ambassador Emilian during his seven years stay in Pakistan focused much on improving relations between the two countries. He in fact introduced new trends in diplomacy by bringing people of both countries even closer.
Ambassador Emilian has arrange a number of cultural events in Pakistan by bringing Romanian musicians to Pakistan. He rightly believes strengthening of cultural relations can surely contribute towards strengthening of people to people relations also.=DNA
