Independence day celebrations at PNCA
ISLAMABAD, AUG 12 (DNA) -Independence is a great blessing. Jubilation of youngsters reflect their love and attachment with the soil. It is our duty to provide platform and best guidance to our youth and prepare them for future challenges commented Director General Shabbir Ahmed on the musical evening arranged by Pakistan National Council of the Arts in-connection with Independence Day Celebrations here at the PNCA auditorium.
PNCA is working for the promotion of art and culture at home and abroad and is providing opportunities to the youth to explore their hidden talent beside healthy entertainment to the masses. Today’s show contains the colours and flavours of all the federating units.
The evening started with popular Kashmiri Geet Meray watan Teri janat main ayaingay ik din by Bano Rehmat followed by Tera Pakistan Hai Ya Mera Pakistan hai by Rizwana Khan. Mehr Angaiz Group from Gilgit Baltistan presented Mai Ro Watan.
The NPAG artists presented colourful folk dances including Kashmiri dance, Balti dance, Balochi Leva, Sindhi Jhoomer, Khattak dance and Bhangra. Popular Bloch singer Akhtar Chanaal received great applause fordanay pe dana. Wahid Bux from Sindh presented Itnay baray jeevan sagar main and Ho Allah Ho.
Popular folk tune of KPK Bibi Shereeni and Monga Pukhtana U presented by Gulraiz Tabassum received great applause from the audience.
Sahira Tahira Noor from Punjab presented Is parcham Kay sayay talay hum aik hain and Chand Roshan Mehkta sitara rahay. A large number of people from twin cities attend the show.=DNA
