PM Imran to distribute health cards among transgender community today
ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Monday will distribute Sehat Insaf card among the transgender community to facilitate them with this project.
According to details, a special ceremony will be held in PM House today to hand over the cards to the members of transgender community.
In May, the transgender community members in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) had also got their health cards in a bid to end discrimination.
The premier had maintained that the rich do not visit government hospitals for treatment due to their dire condition. In Pakistan, the poor goes to government hospital while the rich visit private ones, he added.
PM Khan asserted that health is a basic necessity whereas the poor undergo various obscurities whenever any ailment overtakes them.
