Presidential Address to Supreme Assembly
DUSHANBE, – President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon delivered his annual address to the Supreme Assembly. As pet tradition, the address was delivered at the great hall of the Kokhi Somon.
Members of the National Assembly and the deputies of the Assembly of Representatives, Prime Minister and member of the government, the leadership of the Presidential Executive Office, central judicial authorities and law enforcement agencies, government agencies, governors, heads of the executive bodies of the state authority of cities and districts, the heads of Implementing and Monitoring Investment Projects Centers, a group of former deputies of the historic 16th session of the Supreme Council, members of the Public Council, and members of the Movement for National Unity and Revival of Tajikistan, deputies of a number of public, political and creative associations, heads of republican enterprises and institutions, banks, business circles, entrepreneurs and creative youth, heads and staff of Dushanbe – based diplomatic missions, as well as the executives of media outlets attended the address.
In his address, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon outlined the main directions of the country’s domestic and foreign policy and set specific tasks for promoting foreign policy and ensuring economic, industrial, energy, roads, transportation, security, defense and law enforcement, health care, culture, science and education, social protection of the population, youth, sports and tourism.
