Fazl to meet Bilawal, Shehbaz today to devise joint strategy against govt
ISLAMABAD (DNA) – The opposition parties seem to have accelerated their preparedness, and formation of a joint strategy for giving a ‘real tough time’ to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led federal government as Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari meets Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Fazal-ur-Rehman at his residence on Monday (today) around 3pm.
Recent political strife between the opposition and the PTI has gained new heights following the arrests of PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, his sibling Faryal Talpur and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader and the Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in different corruption cases.
Besides, the veteran politician Fazal-ur-Rehman will also hold a meeting with PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif after a session of the National Assembly (NA) this evening.
The meetings are scheduled to examine and focus on time, place and the agenda of the ‘all-parties conference’ (APC) that is being anticipated to be held in the last week of this June.
