General Hulusi Akar, Commander Turkish Armed Forces, meets General Zubair Mahmood Hayat

RAWALPINDI, MAR 01, (DNA) – General Hulusi Akar, Commander of Turkish Armed Forces, who is on official visit to Pakistan in connection with 13th Economic Summit, called on General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee at Joint Staff Headquarters, Rawalpindi. Matters of mutual interest with emphasis on geo-strategic situation and security challenges came under discussion during the meeting. Both sides reaffirmed the resolve to further enhance cooperation between the two Armed Forces.
The visiting dignitary applauded the professionalism of Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged the sacrifices rendered by Pakistan in fight against terrorism.
