LAHORE: At least 14 children were killed and five others injured after the roof of a tuition centre collapsed in Lahore’s Kahna area on Tuesday, officials said. Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir said that 19 children were brought to Kahna Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital following the incident. Govt establishes stabilisation fund to cope with fluctuating petroleum prices

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has established the “Petroleum Prices Stabilisation Fund” to address fluctuations in petroleum product rates, allocating a government account. The Ministry of Finance issued a notification to inform all relevant institutions, including the Auditor General of Pakistan, the Controller General of Accounts and the Accountant General Pakistan Revenues, about the establishment of the fund.
