US blocks 36 Iranian websites for spreading disinformation

The United States has blocked 36 Iranian news websites for allegedly spreading disinformation and violence. The US administration has taken the step amid heightened tensions between the US and Iran over revival of a nuclear deal. Meanwhile, Iran has warned the United States that closure of 33 Iranian websites would be harmful to ongoing talks for the revival of landmark nuclear deal. In a statement, an official of the Iranian government described the US step as repression of freedom of expression.


Pakistan is Now Producing Sugar-Free Mangoes for Diabetics

ISLAMABAD, JUN 23 – Three new varieties of sugar-free mangoes with four to six percent sugar levels have been introduced in Pakistani markets for diabetics. A Pakistani mango expert conducted scientific modifications of mangoes at a private agriculture farm in Tando Allahyar, Sindh, and produced three varieties of sugar-free mangoes. The M H Panhwar Farms conducted research on and scientifically modified mangoes for five years. G20 ministers stress role of education in addressing global poverty, inequality

SICILY: The G-20 member countries have expressed firm commitment to make collective endeavours for elimination of educational poverty, adoption of preventive measures particularly in poor countries. The resolve was expressed in a joint communiqué issued after the Ministerial Summit for Education, Electronics and IT of the G20 countries in Italian island of Sicily.  


2nd conference on Libya hosted by UN being held in Germany today

BERLIN: The second conference on Libya hosted by the United Nations is being held in Berlin, Germany on Wednesday.  In a statement, German Foreign Ministry said that the Libyan Transitional Government is representing in the conference for the first time. Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh and Foreign Ministers of countries concerned with Libya will also be attending the event.
