Melbourne storm: Three killed as winds cause widespread damage

Harry Potter creator JK Rowling to return award over criticism
“Harry Potter” creator JK Rowling said on Friday she would give back an award presented by the US Kennedy family after one of its members criticised her views on gender issues. The Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights organisation gave Rowling its Ripple of Hope honour last year. Islamabad lower courts to open Sept 1
ISLAMABAD, AUG 29 – The Islamabad High Court has decided to open its katchehri or magistrate courts after five months. It was closed on March 18 because of coronavirus. The crisis management committee said it was opening but people would have to follow SOPs. A notification was issued for the district and sessions court opening as well from September 1. Staff would have to report back to duty.
