North Korean ambassador meets ISSI chairman
ISLAMABAD, JAN 12 /DNA/ – The Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to Pakistan, Choe Chang Man, paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Khalid Mahmood, Chairman of the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI), at the Institute’s office today.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss matters of mutual interest and to review the longstanding bilateral relations between Pakistan and the DPRK. Both sides emphasized the importance of continued dialogue and academic exchanges to enhance mutual understanding and cooperation on regional and international issues.
Ambassador Khalid Mahmood welcomed the distinguished guest and highlighted the role of think tanks like ISSI in fostering informed discourse and strengthening diplomatic ties. Ambassador Choe Chang Man expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and underscored the value of such interactions in promoting bilateral relations.
