ISPR DG warns Gen Bipin’s against any misadventure
RAWALPINDI, (DNA) – Responding to Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat’s reckless remarks of teaching Pakistan a lesson, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major Gen Asif Ghafoor on Saturday stated Indian army has been indulged in its country’s politics in the wake of corruption scandals. Reiterating that Pakistan’s desire for peace should not be taken for weakness, ISPR DG stated Pakistan is ready to give befitting reply to any misadventure. Gen Ghafoor warned Indian of stern military consequences. He urged Indian army chief to abstain from deteriorating peace situation.

KABUL , (DNA) – Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan-Eight children, including four siblings, were killed in Afghanistan when a mortar shell they were playing with exploded, relatives said Saturday, adding to the ever-growing civilian toll in the 17-year war. Sheikh Rasheed announces to run three new trains
LAHORE, (DNA) – Minister For Railways Shiekh Rashid Ahmad has said that a new train from Lahore to Faisalabad is being launched tomorrow. Addressing a news conference in Lahore today, he said that Rohi Express will be plied from Pannu Aaqil to Khanpur, while another train will run between Mojenjo Daro and Sehwan Sharif. Arrest warrants for Babar Ghauri issued in KPT corruption case
KARACHI: (DNA) – An accountability court on Saturday issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Babar Ghauri in a case related to illegal appointments in the Karachi Port Trust (KPT). The ex-minister is facing charges of Rs2.8 billion corruption in the KPT. According to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), eight men, including Ghauri, in connivance with each other had illegally regularised 940 employees of KPT, causing Rs2.8bn loss to the national exchequer.
