PESHAWAR, MAY 27 (DNA) – Khyber-Pukhtunkhwa assembly is all set to take up FATA Reforms Bill to merge FATA with KPK amid ruckus from some opposition parties. The government needs the support of 83 members out of an assembly of 124 to pass the bill and make FATA its part. Opposition parties like JUI-F have begun their protest outside the assembly to stop it from passing the historic bill.

GUJRAT, MAY 27 (DNA) – Counter-terrorism Department foiled a terror bid by killing six armed men and confiscated weapons. According to the CTD, upon information from Shadiwal power station on Upper Jhelum, barricades were erected to apprehend alleged terrorists. Reportedly, men on bikes opened fire on policemen. In counter-fire, six terrorists were killed and three escaped taking advantage of nighttime.
