Quetta: Seven people including FC officer, policemen injured in twin blasts
QUETTA, JAN 01 (DNA) – At least seven people have sustained severe wounds in two separate blasts at Chaman’s Mall Road (Monday). According to details, the first explosion took place outside an under construction building of DPO office and when the officers gathered for investigation, the second bomb exploded. The incident injured seven people including two policemen and one Frontier Corps (FC) officer who were immediately taken to the hospital for medical assistance. Moreover, the security forces cordoned off the entire area and launched a probe into the matter.

LONDON: (DNA) – UK lawyers have told disqualified Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Jehangir Tareen that the Supreme Court (SC) may ask him questions about his offshore trust’s links with the Swiss accounts and banks. Pakistan hands over list of Indian prisoners
ISLAMABAD, JAN 01 (DNA) – The Government of Pakistan today handed over a list of 457 Indian prisoners (58 civil + 399 fishermen) in Pakistan, to the High Commission of India in Islamabad. This step is consistent with the provisions of the Consular Access Agreement between Pakistan and India, signed on 21 May 2008, under which both countries are required to exchange lists of prisoners in each other’s custody twice a year, on 1 January and 1 July, respectively.
