UK Minister for Asia and the Pacific visits Pakistan to reinforce UK support
ISLAMABAD, NOV 08 (DNA) – Minister for Asia and the Pacific, Mark Field, today visited Islamabad for the first time, where his meeting with Pakistani Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif focused on shared international interests, Pakistan’s regional relations and UK-Pakistan cooperation. Following the meeting the Minister had tours of both the National Assembly and the Senate. Accountability court orders Ishaq Dar to appear in person on Nov 14
ISLAMABAD: Accountability court has ordered the incumbent finance minister’s surety giver to appear in person and ensure that Ishaq Dar also appears before the court on the next date of hearing – November 14. Ishaq Dar not to appear before accountability court today: Sources
ISLAMABAD, NOV 07 (DNA) – Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will not appear before the accountability court hearing a corruption reference against him today as well. The minister is accused by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) of possessing assets which are disproportionate to his declared sources of income. Dar also did not appear before the accountability court in the last hearing of the case on November 2. The finance minister’s counsel will present his client’s medical reports in the court.
