Pakistan’s envoy to India meets Sushma Swaraj

In a first high-level contact between India and Pakistan in months Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj met with Pakistan High Commissioner Sohail Mahmood earlier this week, officials have said. Lahore: Blaze at furniture market gutted several shops

LAHORE, OCT 21 (DNA) – According to details, fire broke out at furniture market near Kharak Nullah at Multan Road on Friday night which spread very quickly. At least nine fire brigade vehicles tried to douse the fire and extinguished it after a hectic effort of two hours. Rescue sources said that several shops in the market were completely destroyed.
