MQM-P revokes party membership of MNA Salman Mujahid Baloch
KARACHI, OCT 20 (DNA) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has revoked the party membership of MNA Salman Mujahid Baloch, the party sources confirmed on late Friday.
According to the party sources, a meeting was convened to discuss Baloch’s recent statement at one of the party’s office in Bahadurabad.
The party executives found the Baloch’s statement violated the party’s code of conduct after sneering at the bigwigs allegedly for establishing contact with the Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP).
The party members have been directed to cut off their contacts with Baloch after his expulsion from the party, the MQM-P spokesman informed media.
On the other hand, Baloch deems his expulsion as a punishment for raising his concerns over dismissal of another party member Erum Naseem.
Baloch was elected from NA-239, Keamari, in the 2013 general elections.
