Rehman Malik summoned to appear before Panama JIT tomorrow

The JIT is probing the international investments of the prime minister’s family in light of the Supreme Court’s April 20 judgment in the Panama case. The prime minister is also expected to appear before the JIT on Thursday, June 15, 2017.

Railways provides travelling facility to over 500,000 passengers during Eid operation

LAHORE, JUN 12 (DNA) – Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has said people’s trust in the Railways had been restored due to sound policies of the government. Addressing a meeting in Lahore, he said Railways would provide travelling facility to more than 500,000 passengers through its Eid operation. He said the number of railway passengers had increased to fifteen million per annum. Pakistan holds capacity to produce electricity from solar energy more than India

Protest demonstration held in Srinagar against Indian raids

In occupied Kashmir, a protest demonstration was held at Chhatabal in Srinagar against the raids and crackdowns by Indian forces in the territory on Monday. Addressing the protesters, Hurriyet leader Masroor Abbas Ansari said that many youth had been killed during the military operations. He said that recent killing of student in Shopian was the proof that Indian forces had a free licence to kill innocent Kashmiris. He also condemned the raids of India’s National Investigation Agency on the houses of Hurriyet leaders and members of business community. Haqqani network denies involvement in recent Kabul attacks
