PIA IT system ‘malfunction’ disrupts operations

ISLAMABAD, MAY 29 (DNA) – Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) information technology (IT) system suffered a serious malfunction on Monday which disrupted the schedule of various flights and prevented further bookings being made. Following the IT malfunction, PIA’s operations came to a standstill around 9 am on Monday (today). PIA officials have not yet confirmed the cause of the disruption.
