Law enforcers take Allama Yousuf into custody
KARACHI, (DNA) : Law enforcement agencies (LEAs) late on Saturday apprehended Allama Mirza Yousuf Hussain besides nearly 40 suspects in overnight raids in Karachi, police officials said. Hussain – a prominent scholar – was taken into custody from Nazimabad area of the metropolis and moved to an undisclosed location for interrogation. Charges against him were not immediately known. Saturday stated that it observed no discrepancies in the tax returns of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and his daughter, Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
