Chandelier upkeep project at Quaid-i-Azam Mausoleum signed with China

ISLAMABAD, JUL 19 (DNA) – Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong and Advisor to Prime Minister on National History and Literary Heritage Irfan Siddiqui signed the Implementation Agreement of Chandelier Maintenance Project at Mausoleum of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Islamabad. Ambassador Sun Weidong said that the Chandelier was presented by Government of China in 1970s. It is the only gift presented by a foreign country at the Mausoleum and has become the historical witness and important icon of the China-Pakistan friendship.
