Tajik President prays for early recovery of PM Nawaz Sharif
ISLAMABAD, MAY 30 (DNA) – Emomali Rahmon President of Tajikistan has expressed best wishes for the Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. In a letter addressed to the Pakistani prime minister the Tajik President said, “dear brother I pray to Almighty Allah for your good health. I hope for your speedy recovery”. The Tajik president further prayed that the Pakistani prime minister recovered as soon as possible so that he could resume his official duties. Dar’s acting premiership challenged in LHC
LAHORE, 30 MAY (DNA) – Acting premiership of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s absence over open-heart surgery in London has been challenged in the Lahore High Court on Monday. Ishtiaq Chaudhry Advocate, representing Pakistan Awami Tehreek filed the petition in the Lahore High Court. The plea states that the Constitution of Pakistan does not permit transference of charge by the Prime Minister to any federal minister for a period of time. Sartaj expresses concern over US drone attacks with Afghan envoy
ISLAMABAD, 30 MAY (DNA) – Prime Minister’s Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz pn Monday met Afghan Ambassador in Islamabad to discuss situation arising out after May 22 US drone attack in Balochistan that killed Afghan Taliban chief Mullah Akhtar Mansour. Petition filed in Apex Court to shut down CII
ISLAMABAD, 30 MAY (DNA) – The controversial bill on women protection approved by the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) has been challenged in the Supreme Court on Monday. SECP amends rules to minimize corporate disputes
ISLAMABAD, 30 MAY (DNA) – The SECP has amended the Companies (General Provisions and Forms) Rules, 1985, particularly regarding transfers and further allotments of shares in the companies and has issued a notification in this regard.
