Blast near railway tracks damages Jaffar Express in Sibi
QUETTA: Two bogies of the Jaffar Express were partially damaged on Thursday in an explosion near railway tracks in Mithri area of Balochistan’s Sibi district. The Jaffar Express was travelling from Quetta to Lahore when the blast occurred destroying two feet of the railway track. Railway service between Balochistan and other parts of the country was suspended as result of the blast. There was no loss of life reported. Rescue and security personnel reached the blast site. Pakistan urges India to do away with practice of terror allegations

Police foils terror plot in Peshawar
PESHAWAR: Police on Thursday defused five bombs planted under a 132KV electric tower in the provincial capital, officials said. The bombs, comprising 20 kilograms of explosive materials, were packed into four pressure cookers and a canister in the Phando area of the city under the main transmission lines powering Peshawar. QUETTA: Two policemen were killed and two others critically injured in what appears to be an incident of targeted killing, police said.
