Child labour increases in Pakistan

KARACHI: Pakistan ranks number three in the world with the highest prevalence of child and forced labour despite a significant decline in the number of child labourers recorded worldwide, it emerged at a seminar on Friday. Five more babies die in Thar, toll raises to 66

MITHI: Five more children died from malnutrition and waterborne diseases in Thar on Friday, raising the death toll to 66 since the start of January. A newborn died at the Mithi Civil Hospital, two sons of Ahsan Bajeer and Mohammad Ibrahim Khaskheli died in remote villages of Diplo taluka and two children died in Chhachhro and Chelhar areas.
