State Minister on Interior presents list of banned orgs before Senate
ISLAMABAD, 18 DEC (DNA) – The Interior Minister on Friday presented a list of banned organisations before the Senate of Pakistan. State Minister for Interior, Balighur Rehman informed the Senate that banned organisations are watched to prevent them from resurfacing under different names. In the written reply the interior ministry told the Senate that in the current year 1,113 incidents of terrorism took place in the country while 637 terrorists were killed and 710 were arrested. Six injured as bombs thrown at Bangladesh navy mosque
CHITTAGONG: Two bombs exploded at a mosque inside a navy base in the Bangladesh port city of Chittagong on Friday, injuring six, police said, adding that two people have been arrested.Police said the mosque inside the Isha Khan naval base in the southeastern city was packed with worshippers attending Friday prayers when several bombs were thrown.“Of the five bombs thrown at the mosque, two exploded.
