Thomas Drew new British High Commissioner to Pakistan
ISLAMABAD, NOV 07 (DNA) – Thomas Drew CMG has been appointed British High Commissioner to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in succession to Mr Philip Barton CMG OBE, who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment. According to British Foreign Office, Mr Drew will take up his appointment next year. Mr. Thomas Drew has already served in Pakistan as political counselor from 2006 to 2008 therefore he is quite familiar with the country and environment here.
