120 EU observers watching polling process in Pakistan: Gahler

ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – The Chief Observer of the European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) to Pakistan, Michael Gahler MEP has said the group is observing election process in 87 constituencies across Pakistan.
Talking to media during his visit to polling station No 113 of NA-53 of Islamabad on Wednesday, he said 120 EU observers are watching the polling process in Islamabad Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh.
Michael Gahler said counting and tabulation process of election results will also be observed.
To a question, Michael Gahler said we are also observing whether military officials deployed for election duty are following the code of conduct of the Election Commission of Pakistan.
He said the mission will give preliminary statement regarding the election process on Friday.
