Zaheer A. Janjua aims for fulfilling PM’s vision of economic diplomacy in Canada
OTTAWA, JUN 1 /DNA/ – The High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Canada Ambassador Zaheer Aslam Janjua inaugurated the new premises of the Consulate General of Pakistan in Vancouver, official website of the Consulate General and Pakistan-Western Canada Trade Association (PWCTA) on May 31, 2022.
This is in line with the vision of the political leadership’s focus on economic diplomacy to capitalize on the trade potential between Pakistan and Western Canada. The High Commissioner also met and held deliberations with the community leaders with an emphasis on serving the Pakistani diaspora across Western Canada.
Office bearers and members of various Associations that interacted with the High Commissioner included Pakistan Canada Association, Pakistani Canadian Cultural Association, Pakistani Canadian Women Society, Pakistan Canadian Community Association, Friends of Pakistan Canada Association and Pakistan-Western Canada Trade AssociationThe High Commissioner also interacted with the local media highlighting the potential of Pakistan-Canada bilateral trade and important contributions of the Pakistani diaspora based in Western Canada.
