World’s top 100 airports announced, none from Pakistan
LONDON, MAR 23 (DNA) – The latest rankings of the world’s top 100 airports are out, but there is none from Pakistan. In a list released by the Sky trax titled ‘World’s Top 100 Airports’ , Singapore’s Changi airport retained the top spot for the sixth year in a row.
Singapore’s airport has a range of attractions inside including a rooftop pool, a butterfly garden and a cactus garden. Those with long layovers are also able to take a tour of the city free of charge.
In the list of 100 airports, India has three which are Mumbai (63), Bangalore (64) and Delhi (66).

According to Skytrax, the 2018 World Airport Awards surveyed 13.7 million travellers from over 100 different nationalities. It covers 550 airports worldwide and evaluates traveller experiences from check=in, arrivals, transfers, shopping, security and immigration.
Heathrow clinched the top spot for ‘Best Airport Shopping’ while the Queen’s Terminal (Terminal 2) won the award for ‘Best Airport Terminal.’
