Won’t accept any undemocratic move, Nawaz assures Zehri
LAHORE, JAN 07 (DNA) – Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Sanaullah Zehri made a telephonic contact with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif on Sunday and briefed him on the current political situation.
The chief minister asked party president’s help regarding the no-confidence motion that has been moved against him.
Nawaz Sharif assured Zehri that no undemocratic move will be accepted and said all of this is being done to postpone the Senate elections.
The ousted premier termed the motion a conspiracy against PML-N, and said people’s mandate is his foremost priority.
It is worth mentioning here that former deputy speaker Mir Quddus Bizenjo had tabled the motion with signatures of 14 members which created a rift within the Balochistan coalition government.=DNA
