ISLAMABAD, FEB 01, (DNA) – Shah Allah Ditta is an important historical and archeological site. Historical places at Shah Allah Ditta are our national heritage and we need to preserve their pivotal national heritage. Capital Development Authority (CDA) will use all available resources to preserve Shah Allah Ditta national heritage.

Member Administration, CDA, Muhammad Yasir Peerzada expressed these views while visiting Shah Allah Ditta. Deputy Mayor Islamabad, Syed Zeeshan Ali Naqvi accompanied the Member Administration, CDA during the visit. .

Shah Allah Ditta due to its historical significance carries a tourist attraction. CDA take necessary steps to promote Shah Allah Ditta as tourist destination. Promotion of Shah Allah Ditta as tourist site will multiply tourism in Islamabad.

Deputy Mayor MCI, Syed Zeeshan Naqvi briefed member Administration CDA that Shah Allah Ditta is an old village of about 650 years old which was originated by a Muslim Saint Shah Allah Ditta. He further informed that Shah Allah Ditta village is famous for many old caves which belong to the Buddha’s age. He informed that the wall of the caves had the pictures of Buddha but with the passage of time they disappeared.

Member Administration, CDA Muhammad Yasir Peerzada directed the concerned formations to install detailed information board. He further directed to improver connecting roads to provide easy access to the visitors.

He said Mayor of Islamabad and Chairman CDA has directed to start the preservation of the site at the earliest. He said that mountains in the area are ideal for the hiking therefore, steps would be taken for promoting hiking activity in the area.=DNA
