Will not change our stance on military courts: Bilawal Bhutto
ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said today (April 29) that PPP will not change their stance on presidential system, military courts and 18th amendment.
Addressing to a press conference in Islamabad, Bilawal conferred dual standpoint and announced that they will not accept the contract with International Monetary Fund (IMF) if it is not presented in front of the nation.
He questioned that where the Ramadan package is for poor people whereas Amnesty Scheme is being made to turn black money of elites into white? There has been separate laws for poor and rich people.
Chairman PPP said that we will not change our position on presidential system, 18th amendment and military courts, whether the entire party and family have to go to the jail. We are not going to succumb to the pressure and we definitely are not afraid of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) bullying.
Bilawal said that honorable man like Dr. Dinshaw was accused wrongly into arrest and being tortured now. The law should be the same and accountable for everyone. They will be mocked if they frame fake cases against their political rivals, he added.
Bilawal Bhutto said that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is a black law and institution formed by former president Pervez Musharraf for political revenge.
NAB‘s black law and economy cannot work together. If the small traders are being teased here then how will the economy progress? he asserted. “The law of the dictator and democracy cannot co-exist.”
PPP chairman claimed that terrorism was at an outrageous point in PPP era and the global economy was in a chaotic situation but despite all these difficult circumstances, the relief was provided to the people by us. “Our government provided and increased the most number of jobs, salaries and pensions”, he expressed.
He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) wasted nation’s time in their nine month government. The government should review its fiscal policy. The way economy is working, poor will react. Where did the promised million jobs go? Unemployment is growing in every institution, he added.
